Preparing for Your First
Facial Acupuncture Appointment
Welcome to Clarkston Acupuncture Clinic
Thank you for choosing Clarkston Acupuncture Clinic for your healthcare needs. We are delighted to be entrusted with your health and well-being. This webpage aims to prepare you with essential information for your first visit to our clinic.
Before Your Appointment
Online Form
Before your appointment, please complete our online form. This form will help us gather important information about your current health condition to tailor your treatment better.

Dietary Preparation
-
What to Eat: Light, easily digestible foods
-
What to Avoid: Heavy meals, caffeinated beverages, or alcohol

What to Wear
Aim for comfort and convenience by wearing loose, easily adjustable clothing for easy access to acupuncture points. We will place acupuncture needles along with the head and neck points in your lower leg and hand. Most importantly, please remove all make-up before the visit. Minimise accessories like watches and large earrings, and you may also want to bring a light scarf or shawl for added comfort after treatment. These clothing choices facilitate a smoother treatment process and contribute to your overall well-being during your visit.

What to Bring
There is no need to bring anything in particular for your appointment. However, if you have sensitive skin and want to bring your own hyaluronic acid serum or retinol moisturiser, feel free to do so. If you are an NHS worker, kindly bring proof of employment to avail of our special discount.
